Fold 10, water lost2019 to 2026
In 2019 it was 31 litres in every 100. You have the first 3 years. Before the report shows the rest, draw where you think the line went.
Drag across the shaded years to draw how much water you think the network lost from 2022 to 2026, or set each year with the sliders. Then reveal the real line and see how far off you were.

Fold 12. The sheet lies flat.Every figure on it was read from a meter, a logger or an invoice. How each was counted is below.
How the numbers were counted.
Methodology
Water lost is what left the treatment works minus what member meters recorded, over the same 12 months. Nothing is estimated where a reading exists.
Meters
4,812 household meters and 38 district meters, read every month. Missed reads are filled from the same month last year and marked in the appendix.
Leaks
A leak counts once it is dug up and repaired. Logger alerts that found nothing are listed separately: 41 this year.
Audit
Accounts and the water balance were checked by Harl & Mercer, Corran Bridge. Their letter is page 2 of the printed copy.
One sheet, posted to every member.
The printed copyA2, folded
The report goes out on a single A2 sheet, folded 12 times, with a red thread to open it. Not a member yet? Ask for one anyway.
