Early gets you nothing.
01 · The waiting room09:30 to 10:00
Everyone who joins between 09:30 and 10:00 is shuffled once, in public, at 10:00. Refreshing at 09:59 earns no place. After 10:00 it is first come, first in.
Corvel releases its members' allocation on one Saturday. At 10:00 everyone already waiting is shuffled once, in public, and from then on the number on your screen is your actual position.

02 · The estimate160 a minute
The cellar admits 160 members a minute. Your wait is your position divided by that rate, refreshed every 10 seconds. If checkout slows, the rate drops on screen and the wait goes up with it.
03 · The hold15 minutes
You get 15 minutes. Whatever is in your cart comes off the live count, so nobody can buy it from under you. When the timer ends, the bottles go back on the shelf.
04 · The allocation0 ahead
Below is the allocation page itself. Every count on it falls as other members buy, and the practice queue runs 20 times faster than the real one.
Try the practice run4 wines from the 2019 to 2023 vintages, each with its own limit per member. The counts are live: they fall when another member buys.
Until then the wines are listed but locked. Run the practice queue to see exactly what happens on the day.
